Pure Life Summer Surf School Scholarship
Our summer camp scholarship program is to encourage our students to excel and do their best. Our scholarships are only offered for our partner schools. Please email us for a current list of participating schools firstname.lastname@example.org. The scholarship essay and research paper is geared toward bringing awareness to students of the harmful effects that littering and pollution bring to our ocean and marine life. We hope to stimulate positive actions from students and build a sense of environmental responsibility in our community.
Promote A Healthy Community
For Pure Life, surfing is not only a lifestyle, but a way of life. Surfing changes lives, and in some cases saves lives. Surfers in general are considered to be ambassadors of the beach and ocean. It is our responsibility to respect and protect our ocean and beaches. By bringing awareness and taking action we can all achieve this. Surfing allows one to enjoy and admire the serenity and peacefulness of the ocean.
Surfing promotes health and creates camaraderie within surfing communities. It is an activity shared by the young and old, sick and disabled. Surfing is used as a life expanding treatment for Cystic Fibrosis patients and life changing therapy for the Autistic. We are so blessed to do what we love. We feel honored and privileged to be able to give back to the people of our fine community.
“The surfer who cared fund”
Mike Clack, a true friend who brought laughter and joy to all of our lives also saved lives. One of the most incredible experiences of Mike’s life was when he saved two peoples from drowning in New Smyrna Beach, Florida while he was surfing. From his quick reaction those people are still alive today. Mike also loved to give and share the joy of surfing. He would love nothing more then to see the smiles and joy from kids when they were surfing. The Mike Clack Donation Fund will go to making those smiles happen by providing surfboards to kids who can’t afford surfboards, and also to Pipe Line For A Cure. Ask us about donating to support this fund. We love you MIKE!
